Manufakturet has an Epilog Fusion M2 40 laser cutter capable of cutting and engraving materials up to 1016 x 711 mm.
Staff and students are required to attend an introduction course before using this expensive, delicate and potentially dangerous piece of equipment. If you are on the waiting list (see form below) we will get in touch when the next available intro course is taking place.
Materials suitable for the laser cutter can be purchased from the lab. If students or staff wish to bring their own materials they should be certain of the materials composition and check with either Jesper or Peter before proceeding.
LASER CUTTING INTRO COURSE
The laser cutting intro course is a pre-requirment for using the 3D printers in Manufakturet.
To sign up for an intro course students should physically drop by Manufakturet, in groups of 5, and arrange a date and time with either Peter or Jesper.
